Type 7 is a cultural platform initiated by Porsche, exploring the intersection of automotive, design, architecture, and contemporary culture. It looks beyond the car itself, focusing on the environments, ideas, and people shaping modern creative life.
Together with Type 7, we developed a new storytelling format centered on owners and their personal connection to classic cars. A series of short documentaries capturing not only the machines, but the lives, perspectives, and places surrounding them. Each film grounded in realism, atmosphere, and human presence rather than spectacle.
The stories were produced across multiple continents, from the coastal light of Cape Town through the streets of Milan to Munich. Different cultures, different voices, one shared passion for the automobile and its meaning beyond transport.

The production followed a small, focused setup. A tight team, moving quickly and working close to the subject. This allowed us to stay flexible, adapt to each environment, and capture moments as they unfolded rather than constructing them. The approach was quiet and observational, built around trust, timing, and presence.
Working across different cities and cultures required precision and mobility. Minimal equipment, clear roles, and constant awareness of light, space, and atmosphere. The result was a series of films that feel immediate and real, shaped by movement, spontaneity, and the rhythm of each place.

The project continues to evolve. What began as a single format has grown into an ongoing series, with new stories unfolding over time. Each chapter adds another perspective, another place, another voice, while staying true to the original approach.
More journeys, more owners, more contexts. Different backgrounds, shared passion. The work remains open, shaped by movement and discovery, with many more stories still to come.
